The Church of the Holy Spirit is a rural Episcopal parish located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina, near the college town of Mars Hill in Madison County, which is north of Asheville. Directions for getting here.
This is a welcoming, loving Christian community, committed to serving God, one another and our neighbors. Many have come to Holy Spirit from other denominations, choosing this parish for its warm Christian community and its commitment to service. We accept others for who they are and welcome anyone, regardless of their social, political, and theological views. Come visit us soon. Here's when we get together:
10:30am Eucharistic Service
Children's and Youth Sunday School happen after Eucharist.
On the first Wednesday of each month, a potluck at 6:00pm is followed by a Eucharist and occasionally a special program.

Either phone the church office (828-689-2517) to listen to the voicemail message or check our website home page (where you are now). This information will be posted here and recorded in voicemail as soon as the decision is made, based on road conditions and other factors.
